“The things you think are the disasters in your life are not the disasters really. Almost anything can be turned around: out of every ditch, a path, if you can only see it.”― Hilary Mantel, Bring Up the Bodies

Lifescouts is a badge-collecting community of people who share real-world experiences online.

I bungeejumped last summer at the London O2. It was something I wanted to do my entire life, and I finally did it, raising money for the Epilepsy Society as well. It was, frankly, the most terrifying experience of my life! I jack-knifed and screamed so much. You feel like you will never reach the ground and although as an observer it only lasts for 10 minutes, as a participant it feels like it will last forever. My mom has the picture of my bungee jump, and I would definitely recommend everyone give it a go. If I could do it again though, I would have all my friends there, and jump in my own time over water. A life experience is great, but don’t rush these things.
